The UK Government has released the new National Procurement Policy Statement (NPPS), setting out its strategic priorities for public procurement. The NPPS will come into force alongside the Procurement Act 2023 on 24 February 2025.

UK private sector output growth eases to three-month low in June. Steep rate of prices charged inflation persists in the service economy.

Business activity across the UK private sector increased for the fifth consecutive month in June. The latest survey illustrated another solid upturn in the service economy, whereas manufacturers continued to underperform as production volumes declined for the eleventh time in the past twelve months. Overall private sector output growth was the slowest since March, reflecting a much softer rise in new order intakes as some clients curtailed spending.

CIPS awards Mobily with the Procurement Excellence Programme (PEP) Certificate

The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) awarded a Procurement Excellence Programme certificate to Etihad Etisalat (Mobily), one of the largest telecommunications service providers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during LEAP23 international technological conference in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
