What's included

Whether you’re choosing to self-study or CIPS OnDemand or use one of our approved CIPS centres with tuition support, we have study options to suit every learning style and budget.

Example: If you’re choosing to self-study you should budget around £1500 to £2000 depending on your study resources and exam choices at the diploma levels. This will be slightly less for the certificate levels.

This includes your:

  • Exam fees
  • Study resources

The costs you need to consider

Membership fee

The first step to get started is to join online as a student member. CIPS equips and support your journey from qualification to leadership. We offer direct debit options, or you can pay in full, but we’ll remind you each year when your membership is up for renewal.

Exam fees

If you’re planning to study with one of our approved study centres, then talk to them about hosting your exams and any additional costs. If you plan to self-study, then you may choose to take your exams at one of our venues or remotely.
