CIPS Assessment Author

Responsible and accountable for the development of assessments, and associated marking schemes where required, which are fit for purpose and and adhere to CIPS assessment specifications, guidance and timescales, ensuring that the standard and integrity of CIPS assessments is recognised globally.

CIPS Assessment Authors are required to have a very high standard of written English, with an understanding of language accessibility to avoid the unintentional use of irrelevant features in developing assessment items.

VIEW JOB DESCRIPTION

CIPS Assessment Author

Responsible and accountable for accurate marking of allocated candidate answer scripts in accordance with CIPS procedures, ensuring that the standard and integrity of CIPS assessments is maintained, alongside protection of security and confidentiality of all assessments.

CIPS Exam Assessors will be required to mark exam scripts online, and are therefore required to have excellent IT literacy. As an assessor, you will have to commit to marking a minimum of two exam series and a minimum of 150 scripts annually.

CIPS Assessment Author

Responsible and accountable for the assessment, including marking allocated assignment submissions and developing high quality candidate feedback reports in accordance with CIPS procedures for the Corporate Award Programme (CAP).

CIPS CAP Assessors also protect security and confidentiality of all assessments, address moderation outcomes, and measure performance of assessment consultant services.

CIPS Assessor — End Point Assessment

CIPS Assessment Author

Responsible and accountable for the end point assessment, including interviews, marking allocated assignment submissions and developing high quality candidates feedback reports in accordance with CIPS procedures for the End Point Assessment (EPA) of apprenticeships.

CIPS EPA Assessors are also responsible for GDPR Compliance, amongst other tasks.
