CIPS Foundation opens grant applications for 2024

The CIPS Foundation, a charity linked with the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS), has opened its grant application process for 2024. The foundation offers funding opportunities to UK registered charities that are committed to improving supply chains and ethical and sustainable standards around the world.

Projects funded by the CIPS Foundation can be implemented anywhere in the world, but there is particular interest in supporting initiatives in the UK, Africa, and the Middle East. The foundation seeks applications from charities with a proven track record of tackling supply chain issues and who can demonstrate measurable outcomes by December 31, 2025.

Who can apply?

CIPS Foundation funding is open to any UK registered charity. To apply, you must:

  • be a charity registered in the UK with the Charity Commission, although the project we support could be anywhere in the world.
  • have been operating for at least 12 months and have published financial data available.
  • have a UK bank account in the charity’s name.
  • be a living wage, equal opportunities employer (if the organisation employs people), committed to the prevention of modern slavery.

The grant

You can apply for funding for any amount up to £100,000. Typical grant sizes awarded tend to be between £25,000 – £100,000. The grant period for this award will be 1 year with the potential to extend further if appropriate.
